An introduction to 64 dimensions in vedas.

Welcome all of you, to a matter  that will make you feel wow and surprise you. Yes, today we will discuss the topic “64 dimensions in Vedas”. Don’t tell me after hearing the word dimension, you started recalling the Avengers movie. If you think it is just about the multiverse, then you need to read this article. Dimension is more than just a multiverse. Dimension is about other parts or worlds that are present beyond our universe. So without wasting any more time, let’s begin the journey of the 64 dimensions in Vedas.

Deep introduction to  64 dimensions in vedas.

You might have heard about dimensions in schools, colleges. Basically three dimensions, namely -width , height and depth are taught in school. These three dimensions are easy to visualize and hence form the basics of understanding the physical world. But after a few years of research , the fourth dimension came into existence. The dimension of time , the fourth dimension, the most puzzled and confused dimension.

As per hindu mythology, where the Vedas introduce a profound perspective on dimensions. According to ancient scriptures, there are 64 dimensions in the universe, each with its unique characteristics and inhabitants. These dimensions go beyond the physical and delve into the metaphysical and spiritual aspects of existence.

As per hindu mythology, the vedas say about 64 dimensions . There are 64 dimensions in vedas . Although there is a description of 64 dimensions , we will discuss the main dimensions mentioned below.

  • Brahma-ayam.
  • Vishnu’s domain.
  • Satya-ayaam.
  • Kailasa—the sacred abode of Lord Shiva.
  •  Vaikunta—the gateway to Moksha.
  • Ananta-ayam—the infinite truth that transcends all other dimensions.

The above 6 dimensions are main among the 64 dimensions mention in the vedas.

Exploring the dimensions through Vedas.

Through this article , we will try to uncover the connections between scientific theories and mythological concepts. By doing so we can make human thoughts rich and explore the mysteries of the cosmos. Given below is the detailed explanation of the important dimensions of the universe as per vedas.

The First Dimension:

Width : The Linear Reality.

You must have read about the first dimension that is Width in your school. Yeah , just press a little bit on your memory lanes. Width is one of the simplest forms of dimension which says about the dimension in one direction only. It is usually in one direction which is shown in the form of a straight line.  It is like a simple axis on which objects can move. You can also locate objects on it.

Example : The ruler or scale which we use to measure objects in one straight line . In math the number line is also a classic example of the first dimension.

Second Dimension:

Height: The Plane of Possibility

.

This is the second dimension which tells about the width along with the height . In this dimension, one can draw different types of polygons, angles etc.

Examples : Every object whose length and breath is measured like square, polygon etc, but we cannot measure the depth.

Third dimension:

Depth

Depth – The third dimension:

It is the third dimension , It is formed by adding a perpendicular axis to the existing dimension of width and height. It also introduces the concept behind volume in addition to width and height. By adding depth to the other two dimensions, one can experience the physical reality around us.

Example – geometrical figures like cone , cube etc. Mathematically it is represents by coordinates like x, y, and z .

Fourth Dimension:

The Time

The fourth dimension is known as Time.  It does not represent the physical extension in space, as it is a different kind of dimension. The fourth dimension mostly governs the event that has passed and sequences that happened. You can say it as an unseen dimension.

Example : In mathematical terms the fourth dimension is represented by x, y,z and t . The 4 th dimension cannot be seen but felt.

Now we move towards the important dimensions as per vedas

The Fifth Dimension:

“Brahma-ayam: Multiverse starts here .

Yes, now we move towards the exciting part of this blog . Yes the beginning of the multiverse as per vedas.  Brahma -Ayam is the concept of Multiverse ,  that other worlds also exist other than earth.  It is beyond the 4 dimensions we have discussed earlier. In simple words you can say it as a type of parallel universe.

Let us understand it deeply.  It is known by everyone that in Hindu mythology , Brahma is the creator of this world . The Brahma Ayan talks about the creation of multiple Brahma entities which are born and die , thus ending a process of creation and destruction. It is similar to dying and living in one day. Each dimension has its own role .  The concept of multiverse is not only in vedas , but also research is done scientifically. Some examples here are Quantum Physics or Mechanics etc.

Actually Brahma Ayam is the expansion of our universe . We know only about the universe , but if we read deeply about ayams  and then try to see, surely a change in our perspective can be seen.

The Sixth Dimension:

The cosmic matrix as Vishnu’s realm.

You might have seen images of Vishnu Ji on the internet. The figures captured on the internet show the hand of Vishnu , the mountain  of Vishnu . People who have seen such images and compare with the image of Vishnu Ji , lots of similarities are observe. Interesting , because our mythology is now matching with scientific evidence

Now coming to the Vishnu realm . God Vishnu is the preservior of this world.  In his dimension , Vishnu ji looks after the cosmic order and how it functions. In his realm , Vishnu Ji exists in his different forms and avatars, depicting the purposes behind his cosmic purposes. Lets see the three types of Vishnu forms.

  • Maha Vishnu :

As per Vedas, Maha Vishnu Ji is the source and creator of the five dimensions.  It tells about the energy of God Vishnu Ji and consciousness of the design of the universe.

Maha vishnu

  • Garbodh-kasya-Vishnu:

This second form of Vishnu Ji is responsible for the creation of the individuals , like the birth of Brahma , and how he created this world.

Garbodh-kasya-vishnu

  • Ksirodakaśāyī Vishnu:

The third form controls the matter, molecules and atoms so that the whole universe is in harmony.

The Seventh Dimension

Satya Aayam: Way for Divine Consciousness.

In Vedas , Satya Aayam is known as inner truth through spirituality and divine consciousness. Let’s divide Satya -Aayam word. As per Hindu Philosophy ” Satya” is known as truth and “Ayaam ” is a dimension. Thus combining both it means the dimension which is a truth and also you will get knowledge of inner  divine consciousness.

This realm can be seen through continuous meditation . The Yogis and Sadhus can feel this dimension as they always search for truths of life. Awareness is a close thought to know about the dimension. We all human beings are mostly unaware , but when we start living fully aware, we can see everything beyond our space. You can compare it with the concept of a third eye.

The Eight Dimension:

Kailasa : The Home of God Shiva.

Mahadev the destructor, Shiva the lover and many other names describe the  greatness of  God Shiva. Kailasa is known as the third dimension. Don’t be surprise, after all it is the home of great God Shiva. As per many mythological books and Shiv Puran , Mount Kailasa is the home or abode of  God Shiva.

This dimension is fill with spiritual energies . It is a realm or ayam that is fill with spirituality and has divine connections with God ‘s power.  In this dimension, a true devotee can connect with the ultimate divine. This dimension is like an ultimate destination and also helps in liberating from the cycle of death and birth. For spiritual aspirants, Kailasa symbolizes the ultimate destination—a state of union with the divine and liberation from the cycle of birth and death. It is often seen as a metaphor for achieving spiritual enlightenment and attaining oneness with the higher consciousness.

The Ninth Dimension:

Vaikunth : A gate for Moksha.

One of the dimensions which is the ultimate end for the spiritual seekers. Like Kailash which is the abode of God Shiva, Vaikunth is also the abode of God Vishnu. Now you would ask what is Moksha ? Well as per Hindu mythology , Moksha is a liberation from the cycle of birth and death. The ninth dimension actually stops all materialistic things.

Tenth Dimension:

 “Ananta-ayam: The Infinite Truth”

Now we come to the end of the dimensions. The 10 th dimension is known as ” Ananta -ayam “. It represents the realm that is infinite and full of truth. this is the ultimate reality , which is limitless and cannot change.  It is the actual source of existence and essence behind the cosmic design.

For spiritual seekers it is the source of enlightenment and oneness towards the supreme. It is the highest end of all other dimensions mentione above.

64 dimensions in vedas :

Thus from the above explanations we get a brief about the 64 dimensions in vedas. It is like a interplay between the science and hindu mythology . The point here is how we start from first dimension and all get add . The concept of Dimension cannot be complete in a small article , but through this article you will get an idea towards how dimensions work with the universe. Till then continue reading Vedic Meet
